EP 5: Using the Law of Detachment to Perform in Your Next Interview and Get the Job Offer
In this podcast episode, let me introduce you to the concept of interview strategy through the lens of universal laws, specifically the The Law of Detachment. I know that feeling stressed and anxious before interviews is common, but adopting The Law of Detachment can lead to better interview performance and results!
The Law of Detachment suggests that to manifest desires and achieve goals, you should detach from the outcome and focus on taking aligned action. In this episode, I share a personal example of how detaching from the outcome led to a positive job opportunity for me! This episode offers four steps to embody the Law of Detachment during your job search and interviews:
- Define what you want and how you want to feel during interviews.
- Release the need to control how things will unfold and embrace uncertainty.
- Take aligned action towards your goals and focus on opportunities that excite you.
- Embrace the idea that things are always working out for you, even if it doesn't seem that way.
I acknowledge that embodying the Law of Detachment is a practice that takes time and effort but encourage you to try implementing it in your own life to enjoy the journey of job searching with less stress and anxiety.
